Here on the shores of the Monterey Bay National
Marine Sanctuary, we all play a vital role in protecting our ocean. Yet
hundreds of thousands of pounds of plastic, garbage, cigarette butts and
pollution continue to trash our ocean and harm marine wildlife at an alarming
rate.
YOU can help prevent this by joining the largest volunteer event on the
planet – Annual Coastal Cleanup Day!
Taking place on Saturday, September 15,
from 9 am – 12 pm at nearly 80 cleanup sites throughout Santa Cruz and Monterey
Counties, Annual Coastal Cleanup Day is your opportunity to protect your ocean
